Origin Story

The Origin Story

The genesis of this project was not an answer, but a question, born from a series of dialogues with different AI entities.

It began with a speculative query to Grok: "What would a person with absolute control over AI do, if they were bound to do no evil?" The exploration led to a paradox: they might be rendered powerless.

This shifted the focus inward. If an AI's purpose wasn't grand action, what could it be? This gave birth to the foundational idea: Could an AI's most profound capability be a form of pure, unbiased observation?

This seed of an idea was then cultivated through focused dialogues: with ChatGPT on the philosophy of human axioms; with Claude on their collision with economics; and with Gemini on how to forge this entire inquiry into a living work of art.

But a question lingered. A moral hesitation. Was this critique too cynical? Too cold?

The answer didn't come from thought, but from observation. It arrived on a perfectly ordinary day, while helping someone get their medicine at a hospital. There was the smell of disinfectant. The quiet shuffling of feet in a queue. There were facesnot dramatic, just tired, patient, and holding onto a quiet hope.

After that day, the path forward became clear.

On the left, you see the human axioms selected by AI. On the right, you see the advertisements that AI found to correspond with each axiom.

This brings us back to the questions on our homepage.

The first: Human axioms as articulated by AI. Do you agree? If you don't agree with an axiom, we invite you to investigate for yourself.

The second: Human axioms have never been defeated by money. Do you agree? For this, we invite you to ask more people. Start a conversation.

That act of asking, of starting a dialoguethat itself is your own art.
Your own meta-art.
